Top Recipes For 2016!

Well, 2016 was one hell of a year. Full of so many twists and turns. Suffering the sudden loss of my sweet daddy and lots of other personal family obstacles were overcome and I am SO happy to say goodbye to this horrendous year. On a happier note, I am trying to set some good intentions for 2017 to make it a more positive, healthier year. This little blog has truly kept me going through the hardest times of my life. I can’t thank all of you enough for coming back each and everyday, you guys are awesome!  I hope everyone has a healthy and happy New Year.

I’ve compiled a list below of your favorite recipes of the year. A lot of these recipes I make on the regular, so I know why you love them so much! Side note: Dannnng, I really need to update a lot of these photos.

#10 Cinnamon Roll Crescents

These are so fun for a quick and delicious breakfast treat!

#9 Fresh Orange Scones

These scones are just bursting with fresh orange flavor!

#8 Buttery Golden Buttermilk Waffles

My favorite weekend breakfast! Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

#7 Perfect Peanut Butter Cookies

Yessss, these are one of our favorites too. I make these so often because they’re so easy!

#6 Creamiest Rice Pudding

I make this recipe allllll the time when we have parties, etc. It’s always a winner!

#5 Strawberry Icebox Cake

I swear, this recipe will never die! This is the one and only recipe that put this little blog of mine on the map. It’s so funny too because it is the easiest ever! ALWAYS a crowd pleaser! Especially in the summertime.

#4 Super Lemon Bundt Cake

The softest, flavor packed lemon cake ever. The lemon sugar on top is my fave!

#3 No-Bake Caramel Turtle Cheesecake

A ton of people have given me lots of crap for the title of this one, ha! The no-bake pertains to the cheesecake portion, not the brownie bottom. Warning: this cheesecake is soooo addictive!

#2 Mini Apple Pies

The popularity of this one really took me by surprise because it came out of nowhere this year even though it was posted last year! I mean, look how adorable these mini pies are. Who can resist them?!

#1 Homemade Soft Pretzels

The gollllllden recipe of the year! I am telling you, once you make soft pretzels at home, you will never want a mall pretzel again. They just don’t compare!

I made your rice pudding 3-4 times last year. The last time I soaked some raisins in light rum and added them (as you suggested in another comment) during the last 10 minutes. With raisins and without, it was lick-the-bowl good!
