Raise your hand if you used to eat around the cereal bits in Lucky Charms and just eat the marshmallows when you were younger? Yup, I am guilty of doing this too. Sometimes I still do it! I will always love me some Lucky Charms, adult or not! Let’s face it, basically everyone loves this cereal and basically everyone loves rice krispie treats. Why not make Lucky Treats instead?! Marshmallows on top of marshmallows. Sounds amazing to me. I added extra marshmallows so these are super duper gooey, without being too soft and soggy. They are perfect! And, another bonus is that they stay soft for days! That’s unusual for the traditional rice krispie treat because they don’t normally have enough marshmallows, but I packed these babies to the max with delicious marshmallow gooeyness. I also added a secret ingredient… vanilla! Combined with the marshmallows and Lucky Charms, this really takes them to another level. The flavor of vanilla really brings out the marshmallow flavor even more!
I love how easy these are to make. If you are crunched for time and want to make a cute, delicious treat for St. Patrick’s Day and don’t know what to make, you’ve got to make these! They take minutes to prepare and about 20 minutes to cool and then you are good to go! This is such an adorable snack for kids to help you with and I’m sure that they will absolutely love these!

Lucky Treats
Ingredients
- 6 1/2 cups Lucky Charms Cereal
- 7 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tbs salted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- 1. Grease a 9x13 pan and set aside.
- 2. In a large saucepan on medium-low heat, melt the butter.
- 3. Once butter is melted, add in the marshmallows and mix until melted with a few chunks of marshmallows still visible. Add in the vanilla.
- 4. Stir in the lucky charms cereal until completely coated.
- 5. Pour cereal mixture into prepared pan and and spread out until evenly distributed. For this step I used a piece of folded parchment paper to help press down so it does't stick but you can use wax paper or spray a spatula with non-stick cooking spray and press down.
- 6. Let them cool a bit then cut them up into squares and serve.
