Light and fluffy yellow cake filled with gooey caramel and topped with a sweet whipped topping!
In need of a super easy but DELICIOUS dessert for the holidays? This caramel poke cake is it! I just love poke cakes. The way holes are pokes and a sweet filling is poured into them makes them so decadent! The caramel version is one of my favorites.
First you’ll start off with a homemade buttery, soft and fluffy yellow cake. Then, while the cake is still warm, a bunch of holes are poked all over the top of the cake and caramel is poured into them and smoothies over the cake. Now, for my recipe, I used store bought caramel sauce but you can absolutely make your own to make it even more awesome!

The final step in this (ridiculously easy) cake recipe is slathering some whipped topping on top! You can easily make your own whipped cream but I just love using store-bought whipped topping for this. This is such a light, but decadent dessert that anyone will love!
