So, the other day was the first day of spring, right? Can anyone tell me why it snowed last night?! I cannot wait until summer. To go along with my wanting of summer, I have been making lots of smoothies! Really though, the main reason is that I am trying to cut out unhealthy foods as much as possible, so I made this very healthy. I used vanilla greek yogurt for some body (and flavor) and some pure honey to kick up the sweetness without adding unwanted fat. Smoothies are so good for you and you can put absolutely anything you want in them. This smoothie is one that I make all the time when I want a healthy, light breakfast or snack.
Can I be honest? I’m not the biggest fan of smoothies. They don’t really do much for me considering my massive sweet tooth and cravings for chocolate. But, when I do drink smoothies, which I am trying to do more often, I absolutely love peach and mango together. Two of my favorite fruits combined. Yum. Plus, the addition of banana makes it so smooth and creamy. I only used half of one, but feel free to use one whole one if you want more banana flavor. The greek yogurt lends lots of protein to this wonderful drink.
This recipe is so simple and comes together in minutes for an on-the-go drink. You just throw everything in the blender, blend until smooth and you are out the door! So quick and easy!
