Well, 2016 was one hell of a year. Full of so many twists and turns. Suffering the sudden loss of my sweet daddy and lots of other personal family obstacles were overcome and I am SO happy to say goodbye to this horrendous year. On a happier note, I am trying to set some good intentions for 2017 to make it a more positive, healthier year. This little blog has truly kept me going through the hardest times of my life. I can't thank all of you enough for coming back each and everyday, you guys are awesome! <3 I hope everyone has a healthy and happy New Year.
I've compiled a list below of your favorite recipes of the year. A lot of these recipes I make on the regular, so I know why you love them so much! Side note: Dannnng, I really need to update a lot of these photos.
These are so fun for a quick and delicious breakfast treat!
These scones are just bursting with fresh orange flavor!
#8 Buttery Golden Buttermilk Waffles
My favorite weekend breakfast! Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
#7 Perfect Peanut Butter Cookies
Yessss, these are one of our favorites too. I make these so often because they're so easy!
I make this recipe allllll the time when we have parties, etc. It's always a winner!
I swear, this recipe will never die! This is the one and only recipe that put this little blog of mine on the map. <3 It's so funny too because it is the easiest ever! ALWAYS a crowd pleaser! Especially in the summertime.
The softest, flavor packed lemon cake ever. The lemon sugar on top is my fave!
#3 No-Bake Caramel Turtle Cheesecake
A ton of people have given me lots of crap for the title of this one, ha! The no-bake pertains to the cheesecake portion, not the brownie bottom. Warning: this cheesecake is soooo addictive!
The popularity of this one really took me by surprise because it came out of nowhere this year even though it was posted last year! I mean, look how adorable these mini pies are. Who can resist them?!
The gollllllden recipe of the year! I am telling you, once you make soft pretzels at home, you will never want a mall pretzel again. They just don't compare!
