Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 41/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • sprinkles optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, oil, salt and both sugars until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Add the flour and baking soda and mix on low until just incorporated.
  • Using a cookie scoop, scoop and drop the dough on your lined baking sheet. If you are going to use sprinkles, add them before baking so they will stick.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or JUST until edges start to golden slightly.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes on baking sheet. Then, transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.
