Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbs powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 store-bought Oreo pie crust or homemade

Instructions

  • In the bowl of your stand mixer, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Spoon whipped cream into a large bowl and set aside.
  • Beat together Nutella and cream cheese until smooth. Fold the whipped cream into Nutella mixture until completely combined.
  • Pour mixture into pie crust and smooth into an even layer.
  • Cover with a layer of plastic wrap and then a layer of foil. Place in freezer for 4 hours or until set. Garnish with desired toppings and serve.
  • Alternatively, for a softer textured pie, you can set in the refrigerator for 6+ hours or overnight until firm enough to cut into slices.

Notes

* You can substitute one 8 oz container of thawed frozen whipped topping for the homemade whipped cream.
Storage Instructions: Store pie in the freezer until ready to serve. Allow to thaw at room temperature for about an hour until ready to slice.
Freezing Instructions: To freeze for a longer period of time, wrap in a layer of plastic wrap and then a layer of foil. Place I a freezer-safe resealable bag and freeze for up to 3 months. When ready to serve, remove from freezer about an hour before serving to allow it to thaw a bit for the best creamy texture.
