The BEST Homemade Pizza Sauce

This is truly the Best Pizza Sauce ever! It's rich, thick and full of delicious flavor. This recipe also makes a great dipping sauce!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 28 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 ½ teaspoon basil
  • 1 ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • In a medium sized pot set to medium-low heat, add oil and garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the rest of ingredients and stir until combined.
  • Simmer for 30 minutes. Spread on pizza dough and top with desired toppings or use as a dipping sauce.

Notes

Storage instructions: Store pizza sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Freezing instructions: Freeze for up to 3 months in an airtight container.
