This drink is so creamy and delicious. It's one of my most favorite coffee drinks!
It's been a little over a week since I posted my last recipe and I feel like I am in such a funk these past couple of weeks! I just can't get the words to flow out of my brainnnn. And to top of my funk-ness I'm getting a cold. YAY for end of Summer colds! Summer is coming to an end but you know what doesn't end for me? My love for iced or frozen drinks. I have them all year round because hot coffee is just BLEH! Yuck. On any given day you can find me concocting some kind of mixture in my blender, my favorite being this mocha frappuccino. I have been making this drink for a little over a year now and it's such a refreshing, delicious treat every once in a while when you need a pick-me-up. The chocolate and coffee really balance each other out well without either one being more powerful than the other.
It's no surprise that when I got to Starbucks, one of my favorites is a mocha frappuccino even though I feel like a 12 year old ordering it. Those drinks can be CRAZY expensive so making this recipe at home cuts the cost to a fraction of the price and it tastes even better.
This recipe only uses a few simple ingredients that I'm sure you have in your kitchen right now and preparing it couldn't be easier. Like any frozen drink, just dump and blend! Easy peasy. You are 5 minutes away from creamy, dreamy mocha heaven!

Do you make the coffee first?
Jessica says
Yes, make coffee first and let it come to room temperature. Cold coffee is even better.
