Spicy Blood Orange Margaritas - Margaritas made with freshly squeezed blood orange juice and a few dashes of hot sauce for a sweet and spicy kick!

I’ve got another cocktail recipe for you guys today! When the warm weather strikes it totally makes me want to come up with tons of alcoholic beverage concoctions. Maybe it’s just the Irish in me! 😉 The spicy component in these spicy blood orange margaritas comes from a few dashes of hot sauce! Not just any hot sauce, Frank’s RedHot. It’s the perfect combination of flavor and heat. I know what you’re thinking, hot sauce in a margarita? Just trust me – I was a little skeptical too. But it’s such a fun addition that really makes these drinks so different.

In this recipe, I used Frank’s Redhot Original Cayenne Pepper sauce, they have two other flavors as well. Sweet Chili and Buffalo – Franks RedHot Buffalo is perfect for Summer! I use it alllll summer long. Check out some of the recipes on their website for a little inspo, like this Buffalo Chicken Sandwich recipe. *drooool*

To make these drinks, you’ll use use pretty typical margarita components, tequila, triple sec, lime juice and for flavor, some freshly squeezed blood orange juice and the Franks Redhot Cayenne Pepper Sauce. I chose this one for this recipe because it’s the most versatile that can be used for a wide variety of recipes and it’s perfect to enhance the flavor of your margaritas! I pretty much put that sh** on everything.
