Summmmmer is only a few days away, guys! The weather has totally been summer-like though. Hence, the making of this ice cream pie. I love making sweet treats to cool down in the heat and banana splits are one of my favorite treats. It makes me feel healthy eating it because yanno, bananas and all. We'll just go with that, k? The best part about this pie is that there is no baking involved! No need to turn on the oven in the wicked heat. Or if you're making it on a cool day, it's the perfect no-fuss, quick dessert.

I love to use neapolitan ice cream in mine because it gives you all three flavor options! The brand I used has little pieces of strawberries in the strawberry portion that I loved. You can use any flavor combos you'd like, though! Or just stick with one flavor. It's all about personal preference.

To make this No-Bake Banana Split Ice Cream Pie, you'll prepare the crust and press it into the springform pan. You can use any 9" pan you'd like, but I looove using springform pans because it makes it much easier to cut the slices out. I'm the worst at that! Anyways, you'll chill the crust for a bit in the fridge to let it firm up a bit. While this is happening, you'll want to get your ice cream softening. Take the cold crust and line the entire bottom with sliced bananas, as many as you can fit. Scoop the ice cream right on top of that and press it down into the bananas to fill the gaps. You'll cover and freeze it at this point and add the toppings just before serving.
