    Peanut Butter Layer

    • 13-15 graham crackers 2 cups, finely crushed
    • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
    • 1 ¾ cups powdered sugar

I'm allergic to dairy , could I substitute the butter with oil? Or flaxseed butter?

Applesauce makes a great replacement for better.. It's an awesome replacement in breads and cookies.. I'm not sure about this these bars, I think oil, or even "lard" would work.

If you decide to try applesauce, say it calls for 1 cup of butter, then you add one cup of applesauce, it's an even swap 🙂
